Universities and others have been working with CCR and Mary Jo to research endangered species, such as the ocelot, Texas horned lizard, Texas Tortoise, and Aplomado Falcon. It's impossible to include everything after so many years, but we can share a small peak at the research at CCR

"SKUNK"
In 2021 Mary Jo asked local teacher Tira Wilmoth and her amazing Port Isabel High School students to help her develop an all-natural weed killer to protect her critters on the ranch. They named it “SKUNK” because it is quite potent and has a strong aroma.
