Mary Jo Bogatto, owner and operator has been nurturing 400 acres adjacent to LAWR since 1995. The unfenced free range native south Texas brush was named Cactus Creek Ranch for the prickly pear cactus and established wetlands that flow through the ranch with each rain. Mary Jo takes great pride in the home she has created for generation of wildlife.

She hopes that the next generations of “Native Wildlife Ranchers" will continue her work to protect, preserve and educate.
